He was a Florida State Expert Witness as designated by the Department of Professional Regulations from 1989 to 1991, as well as a Medical Consultant for the State of Florida Division of Worker's Compensation from 1991 to 1995. Dr. Grassi was also appointed as a SUPERDOC by Chief Judge Florida Division of Worker's Compensation in Tallahassee, Florida from 1991 to 1994.
